| For all you non-speed types that have been wondering where I’ve been most weekends, here’s a glimpse into the excitement of speed skating. (Not to mention the high fashion, just look at those great new team skin suits this year.) Back on point, I’ve tried to capture here some of the feeling of speed and power embodied by Team Rainbo, and maybe to entice one or two of you to come out and give us a try. Some of the Midwest’s fastest men and women on skates practice here and believe me it can be humbling, but not humiliating, there’s lot’s to learn here and team members are always there to help a skater better his or her technique. OK, read on, I’m out to practice and to try to best Margo one of these days. |
