2005 ACS Walk and Roll

May 15, 2005

Another winter has passed, another new batch of Patrollers certified and another Walk and Roll under our belts. Once again May turns blustery as the day progresses. However the morning started out clear and bright and even slightly warmish.

This year saw the addition of Chicago's two Roller Derby teams out in force in their quads. I can't wait to see these gals square off on the oval track. Stay turned. Added to the girls in black and blue were my skating friends from all over Chicago; Team Rainbo, Raves skaters and of course National Skate Patrol.

All said and done, if you liked this event thank Tom Grosspietsch, as he sets all the routes, for the walkers, the bikers and the skaters. Great job Tom!!!
